CONFERENCE LOCATION

The conference site is at Universitetsplatsen in the very centre of Lund, Sweden, with lectures in the University Main building (1), Palaestra (2) and Akademiska Föreningen, AF (3) with Stora and Lilla Salen.

Lund is situated in the middle of the attractive and expansive Øresund region. It is one of the oldest cities in Sweden, with a history more than 1000 years old, and has always been a meeting place for ideas and creativity. In Lund you will find the charm of a small town, side by side with the enticements and comfort of a major city, and offers classical museums, art galleries and other sights. Theatres, music and lectures, inviting restaurants and cafés can all be found within walking distance in Lund’s city centre. Lund University was founded in 1666. With eight faculties and a multitude of research centres and specialized institutes, it is today the largest unit for research and higher education in Sweden.

TRAVEL INFORMATION
Copenhagen airport (CPH) in Denmark is the closest major international
airport with frequent train services to Lund via Malmö. The journey takes
about 45 minutes and the trains depart from the airport every 20 minutes.
The conference site is within walking distance of Lund railway station. The
local Malmö airport (MMX) with a few international flights is about 35 minutes
taxi or bus ride away from Lund.
